Fun-to-Make Halloween Village

22 Sep

Here in Central Virginia, in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, the days are getting cooler. Leaves are changing color.  Corn stalks are drying out. Pumpkins are ripening. Halloween, that quintessential holiday, is just around the corner. So, today I have a fun Halloween craft for you! I know! I know! I’m always saying I’m not a crafty person but when I saw the Villages of Cuteness that girls created at Convention, I knew I had to make one of my own! And here it is!

I LOVE how it turned out! Except for the wood bases and the craft paint, these little houses are ALL Stampin’ Up! —  Designer Series Papers (current &  retired), jewels (current & retired) , Simply Scored, embossing powder, heat gun, hemp twine, punches (current & retired), dimensionals, Tombow, Snail, glue stick, texturz plates, card stock, vellum, white gel pen, rub-ons (retired), shimmer paint, stamp sets, silver glimmer paper, inks, sponges, and more!! Of course, when I was finished with these babies, The Padded Room looked like a tornado had passed through (should have taken a picture!) but I LOVE these babies so much, I didn’t mind at all.

So that you can have as much fun as I did, I’m offering a Halloween Village class. If you live nearby, I hope you’ll join me. Feel free to trash my room again. It’s unavoidable when you get creative! Check out details HERE.

If you’re far away, I hope you’re inspired! Go get creative! See how crafty you can be. Dare to make a mess!
