I {HEART} My Hostesses!

21 Aug

On Sunday afternoon, I welcomed my hostesses to my annual Hostess Appreciation Luncheon! Three of my hostesses were able to attend; one was joined by a friend. I was so excited to treat them to a special afternoon!

We kicked things off with a homemade luncheon. Their place cards — so to speak — were their gifts! Little canvas bags for their stamping tools featured retired Stampin’ Up! fabric butterflies and a tagboard nametag, tied on with a bit of retired ribbon.

Flowers! Tablecloth! China and crystal — nothing is too good for my girls! Homemade chicken salad on a bed of fresh greens with fresh cantaloupe and avocado, accompanied by slices of fresh rosemary  and whole grain breads. Dessert? Homemade brownies with ice cream!

Once everyone had cleaned their plates, a memory game, with 12 Stampin’ Up! products, tested everyone! Two prizes were awarded…one to the hostess who remembered the most items on the tray, and one to her guest, who correctly remembered the most product names. I’m glad I was administering the test, not taking it; my memory isn’t what it used to be…IJS!

Then, it was time for some stampin’ fun! The theme of the day was butterflies! Lots of butterflies! It was a real Papillon Potpourri!

The ladies created three butterfly cards and a tile.

A Stampin’ Connection CASE — Thanks!

A splitcoaststampers CASE — Thanks!

A catalog case — Thanks, Stampin’ Up!

I forgot to take pictures of the tiles they made! But, they used the stamp set, Nature Walk, StazOn ink, and retired craft ink pads to create their own unique tiles.

I saved the best for last…for every dollar spent on current product, each attendee chose the same amount in retired product — FREE!

Don’t you wish you’d been there? I do!! I’m setting dates for fall stamping parties now. If you’d like to get together with your friends for some stampin’ fun, let me know! You’ll get time with friends, hand-stamped cards, hostess benefits, and an invitation to my Hostess Only event NEXT August! What are you waiting for? Pick up the phone or email me NOW!

Until we meet again…stay sane stampin’!
